RentSmart Educator
is a 4 day training session running from March 6th to 9th, 2018.

Cost is $600. Subsidized spots are available. Please see poster for further details.

RentSmart Educator prepares and certifies community organizations and partners to deliver the RentSmart model.

RentSmart combines tenant and landlord education, with a certificate of completion, and support to stay housed. This model helps youth, individuals and families find and keep good housing, and have successful tenancies. Successful tenancies are key to housing stability and the prevention of homelessness.

This is a national program.

Winnipeg Rental Network is hosting this training.

 The Spence Neighbourhood Association Is providing a RentSmart Certificate program starting January 22, 2018.

 
Through the RentSmart Certificate Course, you will learn:

·        How to plan for housing,

·        Identify what landlords look for in choosing a tenant,

·        Improve your chances for getting the housing you need, and

·        Learn how to improve your rental references and how to improve your credit rating.


At the completion of the course you will receive a 
RentSmart Certificate. RentSmart is a proven educational approach that provides a combination of life skills and knowledge for successful tenancies.
