New Journey Housing is offering the following free workshops in April:

The Home Ownership Workshop is for people who are thinking of buying a home. We will discuss the advantages, disadvantages and the costs, as well as explaining what a mortgage is and what the bank needs to know in order to give you one.

Workshop Date:
- in English - Monday, April 4 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Rental Workshop will explain renting in Winnipeg, the Residential Tenancies Branch (RTB), tenant and
landlord rights and responsibilities, and how to keep an apartment.

Workshop Dates:
- in English - Friday, April 1 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- in Shiluk - Tuesday, May 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
