WRN 4th Annual Advisory Forum

This year we will be examining our work in relation to a Toronto-based organization called RENT. RENT has been in existence for 12 years and is the hub of communication, training programs and resources for housing workers in Toronto and beyond. Join us to hear how the RENT network developed, resources and trainings offered, and how they developed a landlord database.

Learn what you can do about Rising Rents in your neighbourhood

Two rental concerns have come to our attention recently and the Spence Neighbourhood Association has invited the Rental Tenancy Branch to send a speaker to explain the application process, appeal opportunities for tenants and what role a community organization can play.

When: October 10, 2012
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: 430 Langside St. - 2nd floor (MERC)

Come early because space may be limited in that this is a joint venture between Spence Neighbourhood Association, Daniel Macintyre St Matthews Community Association and West Broadway Development Corporation.
