The Fair Practices Office provides confidential and impartial assistance to Manitobans applying for, or receiving services under, the following Family Services and Jobs and the Economy programs who feel they have not been treated fairly:
Employment and Income Assistance
Children’s disABILITY Services
Community Living disABILITY Services
Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care (subsidy)
The Fair Practices Office investigates complaints, mediates disputes and makes recommendations on individual cases to program staff based on investigation outcomes. It also helps to identify complaint patterns and makes recommendations to Government on how service delivery and fairness can be improved within the participating programs.

2016 WRN Fall Forum: Transitions
The annual Housing Support Workers' forum will be examining "transitions" for several key demographics: Newcomers to Canada; Youth who are 'aging-out-of-care"; seniors switching to OAS; and First Nations people moving to the city.
Our afternoon will consist of updates on End Homelessness Winnipeg and Winnipeg Rental Network followed by break-out discussion groups.

we have "Limiting Liabilites
". This workshop covers a variety of issues, including by-law enforcement matters, insurance needs, fire safety regulation and tenant screening.
All workshops are held at the Cindy Klassen Rec Centre (in the large meeting room), 999 Sargent Ave.
