2016 WRN Fall Forum: Transitions

The annual Housing Support Workers' forum will be examining "transitions" for several key demographics: Newcomers to Canada; Youth who are 'aging-out-of-care"; seniors switching to OAS; and First Nations people moving to the city.

Our afternoon will consist of updates on End Homelessness Winnipeg and Winnipeg Rental Network followed by break-out discussion groups.

Sept 24 | Landlord Advantage workshops

On Saturday September 24th at 9AM we have "Limiting Liabilites".  This workshop covers a variety of issues, including by-law enforcement matters, insurance needs, fire safety regulation and tenant screening.

All workshops are held at the Cindy Klassen Rec Centre (in the large meeting room), 999 Sargent Ave.
