The Winnipeg Rental Network is hosting a community discussion about a new rental preparedness program for renters called RentSmart.

Our community discussion will follow a national webinar by BC's Ready-to-Rent. RentSmart is becoming a nationally recognized model for tenant education and WRN is coordinating efforts to bring the program to Manitoba. For more information click on the attachement.

Feb 25 | Secondary Suites Presentation

The City of Winnipeg is offering a free interactive panel discussion about building Secondary Suites as part of the City of Winnipeg Housing Speakers Series.  Participants will learn about attached and detached secondary suites, building code requirements, zoning considerations, property assessment implications, and details of the Province of Manitoba's financial incentive program. This Panel Discussion will be of interest to anyone considering developemnt of a secondary suite in their singel family home.
